About

Déise Camera Club was set up in Dungarvan by a group of enthusiastic photographers who wanted to share their interest in photography with other similar minded people in the area. The club has gone from strength to strength over the years and attracts members from all parts of County Waterford. The ethos of the club is one of building photography skills and raising standards in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

The club is affiliated to the SACC (Southern Association of Camera Clubs) and the IPF (Irish Photographic Federation). The club has had success in both regional and national competitions. Various club members have had their work exhibited and won individual accolades in a number of other competitions.

Club meetings typically include guest speakers, demonstrations and the monthly/quarterly club competitions.  There is an additional Technical Meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month where members can take part in workshops and practice their photography skills. These meetings will typically take part outdoors during the summer months with the emphasis on learning from other members and practicing photography skills. Check our Events Calendar for details. New members are welcome at any time of the year.

Deise Camera Club meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the Park Hotel Dungarvan at 7.30pm.
